The Social Media Marketing Manager is responsible for formulating and executing marketing strategies to achieve objectives and enhance the image of the hotels within the region.

This role entails the evaluation of customer feedback, market conditions, competitor data, and the recommendation of effective marketing strategies. The Social Media Marketing Manager will collaborate with the Director of Sales and Marketing to coordinate and implement all promotional activities, social media campaigns, and other advertising or marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify co-marketing organizations that align with the hotel’s brand and propose programs or events with a focus on generating ROI.
  • Work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing and the Director of Revenue to integrate the hotel’s branding efforts into e-Marketing and online advertising strategies, including Pay-per-Click keyword submissions, e-Blasts, e-Brochures/modules, and e-Proposals.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Marketing and Director of Revenue on relevant promotions, packages, and other marketing initiatives aimed at driving ROI.
  • Oversee online marketing activities in partnership with the Director of Sales & Marketing and Director of Revenue.
  • Supervise hotel photo shoots and manage all photo libraries.
  • Develop and implement property marketing partnership opportunities while maintaining a focus on key initiatives to enhance customer loyalty and gain market share.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Marketing to ensure that all communications align with the brand and the hotel’s social media messaging on 3rd party sites.
  • Provide support in strategic planning, market research, and presentation development.
  • Create and maintain monthly marketing-related reports and metrics, including Channel source contribution and more.
  • Develop and implement successful marketing strategies for individual hotels, including measurable ROI/KPI metrics.
  • Possess strong oral and written presentation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with external and internal contacts.
  • Apply a strong creative mindset and stay updated on Social Media Marketing and content creation.
  • Work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Pay exceptional attention to details and engage in analytical follow-up.
  • Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Adhere to Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations for safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Maximize productivity, identify and assist in implementing solutions for problem areas.
  • Understand and evaluate complex information and analyze data from various sources to meet objectives.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidates will have a college degree or equivalent coursework in a related field.
  • Preferred experience in the hotel or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in Marketing and Communications, with essential experience in the Hospitality Industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in Windows, approved spreadsheets, and word processing.

Salary Range: $85,000 – $95,000 per year.
