At AMS, we embrace innovation and welcome creative thinkers who are unafraid to experiment and learn from failure. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to take charge of our social media platforms, with a primary focus on Facebook.

This role involves managing, creating, and sharing engaging content, contributing to the development of creative online marketing campaigns, and executing an effective organic social media strategy. The ideal candidate should possess an in-depth understanding of various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and more.

Success in this role requires the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment, juggling multiple projects and areas of focus.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Content Creation

  • Create, edit, and publish original content, encompassing text, images, videos, and layouts, designed to inform, connect with the audience, and drive engagement in alignment with the content strategy and network goals.
  • Assist in the creation of email campaigns.
  • Convey the brand message in a positive and authentic manner.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent brand presence and affinity across all platforms, both externally and internally.

Social Media

  • Support the development and execution of the digital marketing strategic plan as directed by the VP of Marketing.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of our social media presence to engage and cultivate new connections.
  • Contribute to the execution of the social media strategy, involving competitive research, platform selection, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
  • Coordinate social media content development and campaigns in conjunction with other communication projects and the event calendar.
  • Oversee and maintain the editorial social media calendar.
  • Manage all comments, questions, and messages, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
  • Cultivate and engage with our communities to enhance interaction and drive website traffic through diverse campaign objectives.
  • Interpret social media metrics, apply insights to enhance marketing campaign effectiveness.
  • Optimize the school’s social media platforms to elevate the visibility of our content.
  • Develop, launch, and manage paid campaigns, including budget management.
  • Contribute creative ideas and actively participate in marketing campaigns, particularly within the Facebook domain.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of marketing experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or higher in marketing and/or communications from an accredited institution.
  • Proficiency in content creation and the ability to conceptualize and execute campaigns tailored to target audiences.
  • Familiarity with Facebook Business Manager.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills, with knowledge of MLA, AP, and APA formats.
  • Proficiency in online digital marketing with a strong understanding of major marketing channels.
  • Strong computer skills, including expertise in MS Office, marketing software, and applications.
  • A positive attitude, exceptional organizational and detail-oriented skills, and the ability to multitask.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign and Photoshop, is a plus.
  • Experience in the field of Education is advantageous.
