The Outreach and Recruitment Team offers a collaborative environment that values individual skills and perspectives.

This role involves social media, outreach, and recruitment, providing insights into the diverse positions and challenges within the Rocky Mountain Region.

Project Duties:

  • Maintain and create databases, forms, and standard operating procedures.
  • Develop and maintain the team’s SharePoint site and team calendar.
  • Write content for internal and external communication products.
  • Attend recruitment events and manage recruitment messaging and correspondence.
  • Ensure data systems are organized and secured.
  • Build reports and create dashboards.
  • Develop and implement procedures for effective data collection and management.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team-oriented attitude.
  • Willingness to work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Enthusiasm to learn about public land laws and Forest Service policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Participation in US Forest Service Orientation Training.

Stipend + Benefits:

  • $1,300 biweekly stipend
  • $1,000 monthly housing stipend
  • $50 monthly commuting stipend
  • Optional health insurance coverage
  • Paid Federal holidays and 40 hours of leave
  • Up to $2,750 available for Forest Service work travel, orientation, trainings, and professional development
  • Direct Hire Authority Eligibility after completing a minimum of 960 hours
