Produces and posts content for UF Health Central Florida social media platforms. Develops relevant social strategies, maintains editorial content calendars, supports campaign development, and develops tactics for social media channels to meet institutional goals.

Provides reports and analysis on social media effectiveness and sentiment and makes recommendations on iterative improvements in messaging.

Oversees web sites and maintains web content, responding to requests and ensuring up-to-date and accurate information.

Conducts A/B testing for continual improvement of content. Builds a consistent tone and voice for UF Health Central Florida web and social properties.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Coordinates the central social media platforms for UF Health Central Florida, including planning, scheduling, producing, writing and executing content. Engages and builds our online community by creating content that resonates with our audiences.
  • Curates, writes, and schedules content for Central Florida websites. Ensures content remains up-to-date and accurate. Works with communications, marketing and leadership to identify trending topics or areas of promotion that tailor themselves for consumer-directed content on the websites and across social media.
  • Works closely with the marketing and business development department team members to outline social media needs for yearly campaigns and develop production and publication schedules during the year to maximize resources and time management. Suggests potential avenues for promoting UF Health Central Florida by leveraging social media trending topics and events.
  • Designs measures, data capture processes and dashboards to demonstrate the effectiveness of web and social media presence for UF Health Central Florida.
  • Provides a monthly summary of KPIs for senior leaders, including detecting trends and making recommendations on how to improve content around these trends. Provides a monthly review of sentiment analysis for senior leadership. Regularly reviews important social media and web channel metrics and produces meaningful reports that speak to a business problem or opportunity.
  • Conducts A/B testing for continual improvement of content.
  • Builds a consistent tone and voice for UF Health Central Florida web and social properties.
  • Researches new technologies that improve user engagement and overall social media and web effectiveness. Studies engagement technologies and trends and adapts new technologies to prototype solutions that are meaningful in the pursuit of Central Florida business goals.
  • Regularly reviews social media channels of UF Health peers and competitors and critically evaluates UF Health standards against them.
  • Represents the organization at community events and on community volunteer boards, as needed.
  • Meet all deadlines while writing clearly and effectively and with a professional and positive style.

Educational Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
