Paid Social Media Specialist

The Paid Social Media Specialist will be part of our growing Paid Media team and will report into the Director of Paid Media.

This role will be responsible for the day-to-day execution and management of paid social campaigns with a focus on Meta and Pinterest. They will work cross-functionally with creative, merchandising, and branding teams to execute relevant, brand-centric paid media initiatives that drive sales and increase consideration among new and existing customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Paid Social Media Manager to establish audience, creative, and platform strategies that fulfill merchandising and brand initiatives
  • Implement and manage paid campaigns that align with established business objectives
  • Assess campaign performance and make day-to-day optimizations based on approved media plans and designated KPIs
  • Analyze and report on platform performance regularly and make strategic recommendations to improve
  • Develop and review testing plans with marketing leadership and execute approved studies; document and report on test findings and results
  • Partner with internal design and copy teams to create relevant, data-driven ads that drive performance and meet platform best practices
  • Leverage CRM tools to create and target a variety of audiences
  • Collaborate with internal teams and social media influencers to run Branded Content ads on relevant platforms
  • Participate in weekly calls with external partners to identify new opportunities and ensure compliance with platform updates
  • Monitor the latest social media best practices and technologies; identify and propose opportunities to continuously improve paid media performance
  • Work with the broader marketing team to ensure a cohesive brand presence across channels; partner with cross-functional teams on promotions, brand initiatives, and seasonal events

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience executing paid marketing campaigns across digital channels; competency in platforms including Meta, Pinterest, and Youtube preferred
  • Experience generating detailed analytics reports using native tools, Google Analytics, or similar platforms
  • Excellent time-management with an ability to self-manage and work independently
  • Strong collaboration skills and a desire to work cross-functionally to solve problems
  • Outstanding written and oral communication
  • Ability to navigate both the creative and analytical sides of social media
  • Previous participation in measurement and testing initiatives (A/B tests, Brand Lift, Conversion Lift) is a bonus
