The NFL Social & Influence Marketing department is looking for a Social & Influencer Marketing Associate to help with programming and content creation on various social media platforms.
This role involves planning social strategies, real-time coverage of NFL games, engaging with fans, and staying updated with the latest social media trends. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in content creation and a proven track record in the social media landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage day-to-day content on NFL owned social platforms (e.g., TikTok, Meta, Twitter/X, Reddit, Snap).
- Use analytics and insights to assess performance and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Celebrate football across all levels.
- Stay ahead of the latest trends in the social space.
- Identify opportunities for monetization and revenue generation in collaboration with sales and sponsorship teams.
- Conceptualize and execute big ideas throughout the NFL calendar.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders for major events like Super Bowl, Combine, Draft, Pro Bowl, etc.
- Build relationships with social platform partners.
- Lead ideation and execution of editorial and marketing calendars in coordination with social programming staff.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 2-3 years of social media publishing experience.
- Experience programming social channels for a major brand.
- In-depth knowledge of the NFL, all 32 teams, and league players.
- Expertise in current and emerging social platforms.
- Proficiency in social analytics.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask independently.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, early mornings, and holidays.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate with various departments.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, “always-on” NFL news cycle.
- Strong eye for social-friendly content.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous NFL work experience is preferred.
