Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity for a Summer 2024 Marketing and Social Media Intern in our Foxborough, MA and Houston, TX locations.
This summer intern will have the opportunity to gain exposure to the Industrial Automation world with real-life initiatives, projects and resume boosting experience within a Fortune 500 company.
The Marketing and Social Media Intern is a member of the Field Devices & Remote Operations team, working directly with Schneider’s internal Marketing teams and our Channel Partners. Candidates for this position are ideally interested in a career in marketing, familiar with the digital space, and ready to gain hands-on experience over the summer.
What will you do?
- Prepare marketing collateral (PowerPoints, product guides, and other materials)
- Be the primary liaison between our third party business partners and internal marketing team
- Help to ensure our materials are brand standardized, updated, and timely
- Writing communication for our Field Devices and Remote Operations team
- Create posts for LinkedIn, update social media pages as needed
- Manage communications for product launches
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related major (Marketing, Business, Communications, etc.)
- Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel proficiency
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and Social Media technologies
- Ability to travel locally
