As a Story Producer & Video Editor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping content that reaches our vast global audience. We frequently collaborate with leading social media influencers, mainstream celebrities, and contribute content to movie productions and international live events.

Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and producing compelling stories from raw footage while editing both short and long-form content.

This position demands a unique blend of creativity, encompassing story development, scriptwriting, and all other post-production tasks necessary to craft engaging content. Applicants must demonstrate their ability through work samples that showcase captivating content creation and the ability to draft compelling narratives that adhere to fundamental storytelling principles.

Responsibilities:

• Video Editing:
  • Edit video footage, including cutting, trimming, adding transitions, and enhancing visuals and audio for maximum engagement.
  • Maintain narrative continuity while editing diverse raw footage into cohesive final pieces.
  • Oversee post-production tasks, such as color correction, audio mixing, and the incorporation of graphics or animations.

• Scriptwriting:
  • Create engaging and informative scripts that effectively convey creative and humorous messages.
  • Conduct research to stay current with industry trends, ensuring script relevancy and freshness.

• Story Production:
  • Develop and execute creative concepts and storyboards to enhance visual storytelling in videos.
  • Plan and oversee any necessary post-production shoots to ensure alignment with scripts.
  • Continuously analyze audience feedback and data to refine content and storytelling techniques.

• Quality Control:
  • Elevate content quality continually.
  • Ensure all videos adhere to branding guidelines, maintaining a consistent style and tone.

• Collaboration & Dedication:
  • Contribute creatively during brainstorming sessions and content planning meetings for new productions.
  • Demonstrate unwavering dedication to achieving long-term success in this dynamic industry and a commitment to staying updated with industry trends.
  • Be open to occasional travel and participation in new productions worldwide.

Qualifications:

• Proven video editing experience in a Story Producer, creative scriptwriter, or similar role within the media or entertainment industry.
• Exceptional storytelling and scriptwriting abilities, with a deep understanding of narrative structure, character development, and audience engagement.
• Strong creative vision and the capability to conceptualize and develop compelling storylines.
• Knowledge of YouTube trends, SEO, and content optimization.
• Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Suite, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and ideally After Effects.
• Strong research skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information to enhance storytelling.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and solve problems.

Pay: $22-$50+ per hour; potential to earn $100,000+ per year. Rates may vary based on skillset.

• First 3 Months: $22 per hour
• At month 3, increase to $25 per hour (the difference is payable as a bonus at month 6 for long-term commitment).
• At month 6, increase to $29 per hour.
• Long-term potential to earn $50+ per hour with consistent high-quality work, offering the possibility to make well over $100,000 per year. We have a proven track record for this position.
