Collaborates with Program, Leadership, Community Resources, and Human Resources as the Agency’s Employee Engagement and Social Media Specialist.

The primary focus will be to improve the level of engagement, satisfaction, and commitment amongst all our companies’ employees. The goal is retention and employee morale through varied communication channels, events, and activities. The Employee Engagement & Social Media Specialist will plan, post, and promote online and print content on appropriate social media channels, design campaigns, track performance, and implement necessary changes.

Develop and implement strategies and initiatives that foster a positive work culture and enhance the overall employee experience.

Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to

  • Conduct surveys, check-ins, and interviews with employees to gauge satisfaction levels and identify any areas of concern.
  • Work with managers and other departments to create action plans and programs to address any areas of dissatisfaction and increase employee morale and retention.
  • Lead, collaborate, and create all employee engagement activities across all programs.
  • Responsible for print, online, social media, TV, radio, and direct-to-consumer advertising for the Human Resources Department
  • Responsible for the newsletters; Create engaging content to convey company directives. Create and edit newsletters and ensure that content is relevant and correct.
  • Provides analysis and recommendations on social media strategies that align with organizational initiatives and goals.
  • The Employee Engagement & Social Media Specialist is the liaison for HR between AHRC and its affiliate companies and the vendors producing material released to the employees. As a liaison, the specialist ensures all parties agree with the content and specifics of each campaign.
  • Schedule marketing initiatives and events.
  • Maintain social media posts for the Talent Acquisition and Engagement teams.
  • Follow up with departments to ensure that content for newsletters is delivered promptly.
  • Perform other related duties as requested by the supervisor.
  • BA required, plus 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Computer proficiency in all Microsoft Suite applications
  • Proficiency in all Social Media Platforms
  • Proficiency in Design software
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational, written, and verbal skills—ability to analyze problems and determine corrective measures required
