The Social Media and Content Creator will create original and engaging content for CTDI’s digital platforms, lead the ongoing planning, production and measurement of our organic and paid social media strategy, reach new audiences, and increase CTDI’s social media presence.

As a key member of the Marketing team, you will work cross functionally and with CTDI’s leadership, Marketing, Culture & Events, and Workforce Operations teams to create original and engaging content for CTDI’s digital platforms. You’ll be designing, shooting, editing and collaborating on all diverse types of content — from interviews and employee stories to white papers and resources. Ultimately, you will deliver engaging content that helps CTDI reach new audiences and grow our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with appropriate personnel, leadership, marketing team and HR to develop and execute a content (both digital and non-digital) strategy that accomplishes CTDI’s main business goals
  • Plan and manage the company’s social media calendar, create and publish posts, including accompanying copy, graphics, and videos
  • Collaborate with marketing team and partner agencies to generate story and post ideas of various formats
  • Produce and execute creative content (videos, graphics, long form content, sort form content, etc.) to support key marketing, HR and executive goals.
  • Analyze the overall performance of organic/paid social campaigns and digital campaigns, and communicate results to stakeholders via weekly reporting.
  • Ideate and create relevant, engaging content for the CTDI website in collaboration with other marketing team members and CTDI’s web partner
  • Partner with functional area experts to vision, design, and implement digital and non-digital solutions, including landing pages, social media posts, white papers, and other materials and resources
  • Develop, implement and monitor execution of digital marketing tactics, ensuring all content complies with SEO, UX, and digital marketing best practices and guidelines
  • Demonstrates a strong collaborative work style,
  • Other marketing duties as assigned

Education

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, with an emphasis on Digital Marketing and/or Social Media, or relevant work experience

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience across Marketing, with a background in Digital Marketing and Social Media
  • Strong experience (3-4 years) in the latest social media tools (with a heavy focus on Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram) and in managing digital platforms (including websites) and strategies

Knowledge of and ability to produce and edit digital graphics, including video and photography, and digital resources

  • Ability to communicate progress to and take direction from C suite execs a plus.
  • Strong Interpersonal, presentation, communication and writing skills.
  • Well-organized, process/detail oriented with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Team player and an excellent communicator who can work with a variety of people at various levels to build consensus and implement cohesive campaigns.
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively to identify and impact opportunities, while also identifying and resolving issues.
  • Good understanding of branding and ability to express it in the tone and direction of communications.
  • Deep knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, and engagement strategies

Technical Skills

  • Experience with Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Experience with graphic, photo and video editing software (PC or MAC), including Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience utilizing a content management system such as WordPress
