Consumer Cellular is on the hunt for a dynamic social media specialist to join our marketing team. We need someone who can architect and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy across key social platforms.
This role demands an in-depth understanding of the category, our customer, tech trends, pop culture and of course, social media intricacies.
We’re looking for a strategic thinker and an adept communicator, someone who’s proven themselves in shaping a brand’s identity within a collaborative landscape.
In this role, you’ll lead the charge on social media planning, strategy, goal setting, budgeting, and execution, ensuring they’re all finely tuned with our company objectives.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with VP of Brand, Integrated Media Director, Creative Director, and other leaders to forge a potent social media strategy that syncs with our business objectives.
- Partner with our Creative Director, in house studio and paid media teams to implement social campaigns.
- Present social media research, data analysis, and actionable insights to company leadership.
- Establish and enforce the benchmark for marketing excellence, workflow processes, quality review methods, community engagement practices, and crisis management protocols for the Social Media team.
- Drive our social media thought leadership by spotting opportunities to leverage networks for business growth.
- Preempt social media needs and provide solutions with minimal supervision.
- Design and manage social media campaigns aimed at boosting engagement, reach, and conversions across Meta, Instagram, and TikTok platforms.
- Respond to customer queries, engaging followers to foster a robust community.
- Manage social media ad campaigns, right from targeting to crafting to optimization.
Required Experience
- Minimum 4 years experience in social media, ideally with a lean towards tech or service brands.
- Ability to walk a mile in our customers shoes and see the world from their perspective.
- Ability to make as well as think – proficiency in main creative tools.
- Scrappy, work-hard, play-hard mindset.
- Treat our budget like its your own.
- Proven knack for identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns.
- Ability to navigate through data clutter, extract key insights, analyze, and recommend sound actions.
- Enthusiasm for popular culture – and understanding inflection points that a brand can leverage.
- Strong communication skills, able to work effectively across a diverse group of talent.
- A true multitasker, adept at handling multiple streams concurrently.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related fields; advanced degrees could set you apart.
